1. What are the movements on the day?
Rehearsals at, and movements to and from, the Plenary are done in performance order. That means NEWMAN, CULLEN, and McMEEKIN leave first thing in the morning, then FORSTER, ALLEN, and MUNRO will leave mid-morning. Details below…
Years 5 to 12 students in Newman, Cullen and McMeekin Houses should make their way to the buses at 8.30am. They will travel to the Plenary for onsite rehearsals and return to school at approximately 11.30am for House meetings.
All Years 5 to 12 students in Forster, Allen and Munro will commence the day at school at 8.30am with House meetings and depart to the Plenary by bus at 10.00am for onsite rehearsals. They will return by approximately 1.00pm.
Attendance will be taken on the buses both to and from the Plenary. House meetings at school will consist of final uniform checks and rehearsals.
All students in the small vocal ensemble items have special arrangements. They will be required at the Plenary by 8.20am and their buses will leave school at 7.30am. Students in the instrumental ensembles will also remain at the Plenary for rehearsals, after which they will be transported back to school by bus. (Newman, Cullen and McMeekin at 2.00pm / Forster, Allen and Munro at 3.00pm.)
Period 4 will take place at it’s normal time of 2.15pm. Period X will take place but only so that supervision of students can be monitored. Junior school has lunch at 1.35 so we need to be mindful that we don’t have hundreds of MS and SS students in the yard at the same time. Normal dismissal times will apply at the end of the day.
