The Critique
Preparation:
Write a statement of intent that:
- Outlines the focus of what you are doing and why you are doing it.
- Explains what you have done to develop the body of work.
Critique
- Present your statement and body of work to the class.
- Students can ask questions of the audience.
- Students/teachers present can write notes before the explanation and discussion begins.
- Seek feedback from the class and teacher/s on how to refine, resolve and present finals.
After critique
- Critically evaluate the feedback.
- Document the process of refining, resolving and presenting the finished work.
