The Beatles were a band who began in the 1960’s and had an enormous impact upon popular music across the world. Yellow Submarine is one of their very famous tunes that was sung by the drummer, Ringo Starr (Ringo wasn’t their regular singer!). There’s a new challenge in this piece in that you’ll have to play a new note. This is a low Aflat and you play it with 1st & 4th valves with a pitch that is a little lower than the Bflat.

**If you’re playing a tuba that has only 3 valves, the note low Aflat can’t be played so you’d have to substitute the Aflat in bars 4 and 8 for a C -valves 1&2**
