We are currently at Shanghai airport waiting to board our flight home. Expect to greet us around midday on Friday.

The China trip group is in great spirits, but we have been delayed in Kunming for 8 hours. China Eastern has put us up for the afternoon in a hotel until our rescheduled flight departs for Shanghai at 9.20pm Sunday night Melbourne time. This means we will arrive at the Shanghai hotel quite late…as a result, today’s blog will be limited.
The pics today are from the hotel layover in Kunming, the flight out of Dali (including the massive stand of wind turbines seemingly stretching for kilometres), and arrival at Shanghai airport after a lengthy day of travelling.
