The weary trip group has just arrived at the hotel in Beijing…20 hours after meeting at the South Rd gates. All travelled well, and we’re looking forward to exploring Tiananmen Square tomorrow. Good night all.

By now, you are hopefully packed and ready to go!

 

Do remember your towel for use in the village (which you will leave behind for the school dormitory) and your simple sleeping bag liner (a sheet sewn up).

 

For the plane trip, wear your sensational China TShirt, with StLs tracksuit. From the time of meeting at StLs tomorrow, to the time of arrival at the first hotel in Beijing, we will be travelling for about 20 hours, so you need to be comfortable.
