The Fireflies are tucked up in bed after a very early start to their Vietnam adventure this morning. We were met at HCMC airport by Xuyen, our bubbly tour guide, and joined the throngs of commuters from the safety of a bus. We were then treated to our first delicious dinner of spring rolls, seasoned tofu, sweet and sour pork, beef and chicken…and dessert was pineapple and watermelon dipped in salt! Lots of new and exciting experiences already…A quick trip to the local store to top our water supplies ended our day, and we look forward to the Great Race tomorrow.

Fireflies – I hope you’re ready and excited for our Vietnam adventure to begin in two more sleeps! Make sure you’ve checked and double checked against the packing list, and then get a good night sleep tomorrow night. I look forward to seeing you all at the South Road gates at 6:30 on Monday morning.
