Update
Dear all
I have just spoken to our tour leader in Vietnam about the tragic Typhoon that hit Nha Trang yesteerday . We do not travel to Nha Trang but do visit Hoi An , where there was some flooding. We believe that Hoi An will be fine when we get there, the typhoon has now dissipated and , whilst Hoi An is prone to flooding, the water there quickly dissipates as well. Our groups will not be there until the 13th November – ( 15th for yellow) and we do not believe it will effect the Big Experience itineraries at all. That said , everyone will be keeping a watch on the weather , and will make changes if need be.

Vietnam Grey has landed in Ho Chi Minh. They will now be acclimatising to the warmer weather.
Vietnam Yellow – Day 1
We have safely arrived in Ho Chi Minh City and are about to board our connecting flight to Hanoi. We will update you when we arrive!
China group in Chengdu
Dear parents and friends,
24 hours after meeting at the South Rd gates, we have made it to our hotel in Chengdu. The group travelled exceptionally well…most of us slept on the overnight flight to Bangkok, and despite the wearying travel routine, everyone is in great spirits. The showers at the Garden City Hotel in Chengdu are currently being used with considerable enjoyment!
As we have arrived late afternoon, there will be time to freshen up and go to dinner, before preparing ourselves for the pandas tomorrow. The blog will begin with student input from tomorrow, with each student contributing their thoughts, feelings, observations etc over the next couple of weeks. There may be times when the blog is infrequent, and that will be a result of ineffective (or no) wifi.

Our China group is in China, TLC Temples are getting ready for a cooking class in Thailand as I post, and our Australia trip are touring Darwin. We can look forward to photos and Blog posts from them soon.
