Lana Zaidenberg commenced her advanced tertiary studies at the Victorian College of the Arts. In the early years she performed for many musical productions as well as TV and Radio recordings. Whilst traveling around Australia with the College of the Arts orchestra she also contributed to the acoustic design of the The Arts Centre and Hamer Hall.

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Music Degree and Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne (specializing in violin studies, the art of teaching and music therapy), Lana completed a Primary Teachers Certificate in special education receiving training at ‘The Royal Children’s Hospital’ and ‘The Royal Institute for the Blind’.

Lana has been teaching students of all ages and abilities (the violin, viola and theory of music) in various schools and privately for around 30 years. She focuses on inspiring young string players, running string programs and directing ensembles.

Lana maintains her passion for music performance with current involvement in the Bayside Chamber Orchestra. In addition to this, she continues to nurture new musical talent at St Leonard’s College, private studio, as well as developing a string program at Hampton Primary School.
