Tarko Sibbel has played the saxophone for over 20 years. Tarko completed his Bachelor of Music (Hons.) at the University of Melbourne and as a recipient of the Australian Postgraduate Award completed his Masters of Music Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2006/7. Tarko also completed his Grad. Dip in Education through Monash University in 2012. Tarko has performed in wide range of ensembles including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria and as a recording musician for the ABC Music and Sony Music labels. Tarko has performed live on radio and television continues to perform in a number of groups around Melbourne. Alongside his teaching at St Leonard’s College, Tarko tutors a number of saxophone students and chamber ensembles at the University of Melbourne.
