Irish Group

Irish is one of the world music ensembles at St Leonard’s College. It caters for Violin, Flute, Tin Whistle (easy to learn, suitable for all woodwind players!), Guitar, Banjo, Double Bass & Percussion (bodhran – Irish drum). There are no auditions for entry into this ensemble. This ensemble has a full performance schedule across the entire year. As a SPECIALIST ENSEMBLE, all members of this ensemble must also be a member of a core ensemble.
