Jodie is an experienced classroom music, choral and instrumental teacher, with a strong background in drama, who graduated from the University of Melbourne. She then completed post-graduate studies at the Kodaly Pedagogical Institute of Music in Hungary. After teaching at Scotch College in Melbourne, Jodie spent seven years on the island of Guadeloupe in the French West Indies, where she helped to set up a music school with her French husband, who is also a musician. She taught music classes, flute and piano in addition to establishing a choral programme involving 100 children ranging from 6 – 18 years of age. Jodie was then Head of Junior School Music at Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne, where she taught children from Pre-School to Secondary School. Her most recent position was at Ivanhoe Grammar School.
