Catherine Attard is an accomplished and dedicated piano accompanist and piano teacher with over 20 years of experience.
She comes from a musical family and was greatly influenced by their love of music of every genre.
Catherine learnt piano from an early age and was inspired by her dedicated teachers, as well as time spent undertaking study in classical and contemporary music.
Catherine has broad experience in accompanying many choirs, ensembles and soloists and has toured internationally in her capacity as an accompanist.
She is adept at accompanying individuals and groups in all genres and at all levels.
Catherine has worked as a tutor both privately and at schools including Mentone Girls’ Grammar School and St Kevin’s College, Toorak.
As well as her duties at St Leonard’s, Catherine is currently working as a repetiteur with The Australian Ballet and as an accompanist at St Bede’s College, Mentone. She is passionate about working with young musicians in her role as piano accompanist and tutor.
