String, Brass, Woodwind & Percussion auditions for orchestras
SLSO, Chamber Strings, STL Pops and Chamber Groups – String, Brass, Woodwind and Percussion audition requirements
All players are required to audition in order to gain entry to SLSO and STL Pops. For Strings this will also apply to Chamber Strings. Each audition will last approximately 4 minutes. You will be required to perform:
- Own choice piece (please pick 1 page if performing a longer work, no longer than 2 mins)
- Two contrasting orchestral excerpts
Auditions will be recorded and submitted online.
