How do we make meaning from texts?
In this unit, students’ metacognitive reading skills will be developed as we focus on visualising, inferring and connecting to read imaginatively, critically, and deeply. We will focus on visualising, inferencing, and making connections, practicing with our own novels and other excerpts. The assessment for this unit is an inferencing test, where students will make inferences from passages, supporting their responses with text evidence!
