STL POPS Orchestra is the second of two symphony orchestras at St Leonard’s College. It forms the basis of curriculum tuition for all year 7 string players who undertake lessons as well catering to all orchestral players from year 5-10. There may be auditions for positions in the woodwind, brass and percussion sections however this ensemble is suitable (and does not require audition) for any string player from year 5 to year 10. All strings players however are encouraged to be undertaking private lessons. This ensemble has a full performance schedule across the entire year. STL POPS Orchestra is a CORE ENSEMBLE.
